SparkMind AI Education is proud to announce that two student teams from our community competed in the inaugural AIEC (AI Entrepreneurship Contest) finals on June 13, 2026, in Toronto - and both achieved outstanding recognition.

Team Resona, featuring co-founders Alex Song and Samantha Zhang, secured 3rd Place with the prestigious Scotiabank Award for Emerging AI Venture, alongside a Scotiabank Award for Rising AI Entrepreneurs. Their innovative approach to AI-driven solutions demonstrated strong technical depth and business viability.

Team AOSM's FreshTrack, led by SparkMind co-founder Mia Cao and her teammates from Jin's Art initiative, earned the Scotiabank Award for Business Potential, recognizing the AI meal-planning application's compelling market validation and entrepreneurial vision targeting multicultural urban youth in the GTA.

The AIEC competition, organized by the Outstanding Teenager Leadership Foundation (OTLF) and sponsored by Scotiabank, evaluates student ventures across the 3I Framework: Intelligence (AI technical literacy), Innovation (business acumen), and Impact (social responsibility).

Both teams exemplify SparkMind's mission to cultivate AI literacy, entrepreneurial thinking, and social responsibility among youth. We celebrate their achievements and look forward to continued innovation!
